Intermediate ASL

Description

Students will continue to develop expressive and receptive competence in using American Sign Language to fulfill various communicative functions, such as making and responding to inquiries, constructing and comprehending narratives, and engaging in debates. Students will continue to expand their ASL lexicon. Students are enabled to enter into full discussion of topics that include abstract themes. Deaf Culture will remain to be a significant part of this course. Prerequisite: ASL 122 or Instructor Permission. Offered: Fall, Spring.
