Description

Students write about sports as participants, fans and cultural critics, building a complex understanding of sports, its place in our culture, how sports writing persuades and how sports writing teaches us about ourselves. Students learn to write about sports in a variety of forms, including the column, beat report, personal narrative, sports poem and profile. 3 Lecture hours. Prerequisites: EN 111 Offered: Spring, odd years
