Description

The first of a two-semester sequence; this course applies the concepts of engineering to a capstone design project. Students will write the problem statement, establish requirements and specifications with contraints, explore alternate solutions, evaluate solutions against requirements, perform engineering analysis and propose a detailed design solution. Project planning, report writing and oral presentations are required. The course requires up to nine hours per week under guided supervision by a faculty advisor. Prerequisite: ME370
