Writing and Inquiry I

Description

Designed to empower students to develop flexible writing strategies at all stages of the writing process in order to communicate effectively in a variety of public contexts. Students are asked to prioritize and practice understanding of themselves, groups, contexts and values as the foundation of public discourse. Throughout the semester, students engage with diverse perspectives, understand rhetorical choices as both a writer and audience; engage in informed and ethical research practices and demonstrate productive peer collaboration. Credit cannot be earned in both EN 110 and WRIT 110. 3 Lecture hours. Offered: Fall, Spring, Summer.
