Description

Courses explore a specific topic related to human experience and promote interdisciplinary engagement, critical thinking, collaboration and creativity. Students participate in discussions, hands-on activities and research around the selected course theme. Assignments focus on developing critical thinking, writing, communication and research skills in an interdisciplinary setting to provide a well balanced and integrative academic experience. Courses are part of the Norwich Humanities Initiative and team taught by faculty in Humanities fields teamed with faculty outside of the Humanities. Course topics vary. Course can be repeated up to 12 times for credit with a different topic. 3 Lecture hours. Satisfies Goal 3. Offered: Fall, Spring
