Disaster Planning

Description

Examines the various perspectives and research that informs disaster planning. Student will evaluate the strength of disaster plans and analyze how the strength of the plan affects disaster preparedness, disaster response, management and community recovery. Emphasis is placed on interprofessional and intersectional practice and systems thinking which are essential to formulating and enacting sustainable disaster plans. Prerequisite: PUBH 520 and NR 593. Offered: Fall, Winter, Spring, Summer.
